Hi folks. Here is a comic idea I started a couple of years back before it got derailed by life's trials and tribulations. I am posting it now because if I don't, I probably never will. It features a lone warrior swordsman character set in a post apocalyptic world. The basic plot is a lot of fighting between the swordsman protagonist and the evil mutants that have taken over the Earth, and his mission quest which is to attempt to restore the land back to health and make it habitable once again for human life. Of course completing this mission will be very difficult and wrought with obstacles and unexpected surprises.
Only two pages were completed so far, but 5 have been penciled.
Joe Jarin, a fellow comicfury artist, inked my pencils and did the coloring as well. Sadly, he is no longer involved in the project so I must ink and color the remaining pages on my own which will take some time...
I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for reading. Sincerely, Chris Shepard.
it's Mad Max meets Thundarr! it's... it's... MAXAR! Warrior of the Wasteland! que the heavy metal '80's music!
The opening shot of the intruder reminds me a bit of Marvel's Moon Knight, very cool! Excited to see how this new comic of yours unfolds!
Thank you friend!
Hey! How did I miss THIS!? Looks awesome so far Chris-Tar. I often feel as though my flesh is forfeit, it's called "getting old".
Awesome.....I’m looking forward to more.
Thank you for subscribing. Your comic looks cool and interesting. I will catch up on it as soon as possible.
It's so sacred they can't even clean up the trash. ;-)
Ha. Funny. But this thing isn't scared, more like it is manic and pumped with adrenaline, and also hungry for meat.
The monsters are symbolic. They represent the evil in the real world.
LOL, Yes. So many issues and, so difficult to manage, but he is being shown "tough love" right now. LOL
Bruh, i just saw marvel has a guy called crystar the crystal warrior, lol i thought about your username. Did you ever peep that stuff? The art on the covers i saw looked rreally cool like that boris vallejo julie bell airbrushed bodybuilder warrior stuff from the 80s
Actually "Crystar" may be the inspiration for my screen name here, but I cannot remember exactly.
I do remember that comic from the 80s, but I never even read any of them, I just liked the covers.
I use the nickname "Christar" all over the internet.
Also, I spell it "Chris-Tar" here on comicfury, because once I spelled it "Christar", and was accused of trying to proclaim that I was "Christ", as in "Christ -Star"...
Which of course is NOT true.
Fantastic page! Looking forward to reading through this one =)
